Education

Whether picking up a new instrument or refining your skills, remote music lessons give you access to professional music lessons at home

Art comes in various guises. Our eyes, ears, fingers, or pallets can find delight and joy in anything our senses present. Crafting a full experience from pallet cleanser to digestif is the art of a chef. As professional musicians or those hoping to enhance the lives of those around us with our craft through education and skills development is no less a part of our growth.

I began singing in a church chorus and grew into the boys’ choir in various education and voice coaching levels. I truly enjoy singing, but when faced with the pressure of my first competition, I failed to execute. I lacked confidence.

In any profession, we need comprehensive education, practice, and evaluation processes to reach the best outcomes. Mastering an instrument takes an investment of time. Do not waste your time learning from a good musician. Get the fundamentals for the development of your art and learn to play the guitar with Sage Music.

Artist of music attained their position by defining themselves through sound practices. How many people have you heard play the same rift on a guitar or tune on a flute? Rather than mimic excellence, create new avenues into your art with layers of sound that project imagery.

Whether your instrument is a piano, saxophone, violin, cello, or drums, add beauty to this world. Let the senses of those around you feel the emotion and story being told through your tune. We confuse words in conversation and translate emotions poorly with results that can hurt relationships by accident.

Can you think of a song that lifts you up? If you only hum a few bars in your head, your attitude can change. Create your art with purpose. There are many brush strokes between a blank canvas and a masterpiece.

My first martial arts instructor told me many things that have stuck with me. Painful trials will do that. One thing he said is,” Never worry about the opponent who practised 5000 techniques once, but fear the one who practised one technique 5000 times.”

One song, one combination of notes, and one chord set rehearsed 5000 times will train you to listen and play deeper. Stay true to your art. Everyone isn’t going to love the same song, but every song can be filled with the art of love.
