Although computer scientists have been working on AI since the 1950s, the breakthrough crippling effect is being seen now in the 2020s after the advent of ChatGPT. ChatGPT is the most quickly adopted technology to ever be built on the planet Earth. It gained millions of users within the days of its launch.

Seeing this massive success of ChatGPT, the tech giants can’t leave the opportunity to get the sweets for themselves on the table. So, since then, we have had Midjourney (for image generation), Zapier (for automation), and Sora (for video generation) on the scenes. That video from Sora had me in awe. It was that good. Go geeks, check it out if you haven’t yet.

If you are coming back to my content piece after watching those videos then yeah, AI-powered tools have come this far and they can help you change your life too. Let’s chat about what tools can help you with that.

Wordtune

We are in a hyper-active age there’s no denying that. Everybody is in a rush and our attention spans are growing shorter and shorter, especially after the popularity of the short form content. But we can’t close our brains to new innovative ideas that usually come in long-form content or hours-long podcasts for which we might not usually won’t have time.

So, what do we do?

Wordtune is a pretty helpful Chrome extension that can help you summarize thousand-word blogs and long YouTube videos in pointers so that you can skip unnecessary details while getting all the essential juice of the content. Even though I can see those long-form videos and content, still I use Wordtune to save hours of my time to get more innovative ideas.

Not only that, the Wordtune extension is available in the form of mobile applications for only iOS, the Android version is yet to be developed. The mobile application of Wordtune can do a lot more than just summarizing. It can help you write replies to emails, create an article for you, write a cover letter for you, and can help you find the right reply to even your personal message if you don’t know how to reply.

All in all, it’s a great app to integrate with your browser or download it on your phone.

Reclaim

Another AI-powered Chrome extension that helps you reclaim your time back for the things you love to do and want to do but can’t find the time-space to do so. Yeah, we all have been there.

How does it work?

When you integrate it with your Chrome profile and Google Calendar it checks all of your schedules including your off-work schedule and then it dedicates the unutilized time for the stuff you want to do like playing golf, soccer, or anything else.

One of the best things about this extension is that it helps you build good habits easily. It can remind you that you have an hour so you can go surfing. In case you have another urgent work-related task to work on and it comes at a time of your hobby, it reallocates the time accordingly.

It’s one of my favorite apps as I don’t have to spend extra time scheduling my day.

ActiveFence

Neither a mobile app nor a Chrome extension but it’s an integration of code into already-existing mobile apps to help filter the content that might be offensive and mentally-affecting for young people, especially in their teenage.

This has been developed by the collaboration of ActiveFence with Agora with the motive to protect the youth mainly from cyberbullying.

That said, while the internet has offered some priceless efficiency in our daily lives, it has downsides which, by the way, can be managed by external resources like ActiveFence or from your internet provider’s end.

For example, my ISP, Xfinity offers xFi Gateway that protects your home network from cyber-attacks. It offers one of the most reliable internet connectivity and affordable plans that can fit into almost any reasonable budget. Explore more about what they have for you with just a minute’s call at Xfinity customer service.

GymBuddy

GymBuddy is one of the most efficient apps when it comes to achieving your fitness goals and those too at your own time.

This AI-powered app can help with tailoring fitness plans for you right according to your experience lifting weights, your body type, weight, and height. It saves you from the overly adrenaline-rushing Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts that are likely to be unsafe for your body.

As a cherry on top, the GymBuddy app can work around itself when it comes to scheduling your workout. It can be integrated with your schedule or you can create a separate schedule within the app to help you find the right time for a workout while not compromising on your work.
